Life & Work with Terri Eaddy

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terri Eaddy.

Hi Terri, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always wore little to no make up. After having my 2nd child in 2016, I hated the way I looked. I picked up on make up as a hobby. Eventually, my friends and family wanted theirs done and started to tag me on social media when someone was looking for a make up artist. Me and some friends also joined make up groups and had a make up night with drinks. I took my first paying customers in Sept 2018, and I’ve been in business ever since. I was doing make up from home. March 2021, I left my full-time job to pursue make up full time. May 2021, I leased my first suite. The summer 2021, I also started classes for esthetics at Columbus tech… and that is currently where I’m at. I will be a successful esthetician helping others reach their goals once I finish. My name FacetimeTerri has nothing to do with the iPhone. I would go live doing my make up and called it facetime with Terri. ❤️

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not been as smooth. The world took a turn for the worse with COVID 19. And obviously servicing faces I had to stop. I took a break 3-4 months until we got a hang of things. And now I practice precautions like hand washing between clients and wiping down in between as well. They also must wear masks to the visit.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a freelance make up artist. I do full face applications and clients choose from soft beats or glam beats. The difference is the price and the details. I also offer brow tint as well. I will offer more services the more I complete in class. I specialize in the sultry looks. Nice soft look with matte colors and shimmers. I’m most proud that I stuck with this and I like it.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
Spending summers in KY at my aunties house with all my cousins.
