Life & Work with Timothy Watkins II of Griffin, Georgia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Timothy Watkins II.

Timothy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I got into a lot of fights as a kid. I got into a lot of trouble also. That being said I have been arrested a couple times. I met a trainer named Russell, but everybody calls him King, while I was inside and we linked up on the outside. I ended up fighting in 2 events in my city, Griffin Ga, and I won both by Tko and a KO. I ended being invited to a gym after the last event where I have been fighting and competing in the amateurs for almost 3 years now and I am getting ready to go pro soon.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve been through a lot. Poverty, I have lost a lot of people, I’ve been arrested multiple times and etc. But I’m here to prove anyone can change. It’s never to late too chase your dreams it’s never too late unless you give up. Just want to show the world I’m more than a statistic.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
For work I currently work in a warehouse . I’m experienced in landscaping, construction, and repairing houses and painting. I also make music and play semi pro football. I’m known for boxing and my music and I am most proud of the person I’ve become. What sets me apart from others is that I’m a jack of all trades. I can do it all. If you tell me I can’t I will make sure I do it. I’m really a dog.

What are your plans for the future?
I’m looking forward to the pros. I plan on making my debut in 2026.
