Life & Work with Travon “Tray-D” Compton of Stone Mountain

Today we’d like to introduce you to Travon “Tray-D” Compton.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my story off in 2014 releasing my first mixtape titled “Unsigned” I ended up being a Touring Recording Artist until 2020 when Covid shut the world down. I made the transition to Sneaker reselling and making digital content broadcasting the entire journey. I gained popularity on YouTube in 2021 allowing me to grow my footprint in the Sneaker industry reselling, vending live events and among the sneaker timeline. In 2025 I accepted a position as the General Manager overseeing a Stone Mountain area location of The Athlete’s Foot entering a new horizon in the industry I love to bring the Sneaker culture all together.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The sneaker market is very unpredictable so it has been bad investments, missteps and missed profit along the way for sure but it helps you to make the next move your BEST move.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
