Today we’d like to introduce you to Trinity .
Hi Trinity, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was born a Mystic. Always contemplating life’s curiosities and normalities. I knew I would be known for many things at an early age. When I was 13, I started my YouTube channel documenting life as a preteen girl dealing with angst, heartbreak, and living in a sexist society. I found my voice through poetry and leading an eclectic platform. At 16, I received an important message from my assistant principal that encouraged me to start writing my first book, Brown Girl Almighty. It is a collection of poetry beginning in a time of sadness and ending with self-love and acceptance. It is the culmination of 23 years of transformation, and I am excited to finally be launching it in May 2024.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At times, it was difficult to surrender to what made me different. In school, and in certain family dynamics, my individuality was shunned. It took a lot of self-love to cultivate the courage needed to be proud of my differences. I’ve been weird since a child but now I know it is a super power of mine.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create conscious content about self-development and psychedelic research. In 2020, after seven years of making YouTube videos, my channel finally took off with a “Day in my Life ON SHROOMS” This was the start of a new life for me. However, as I aligned with my truest desires, I started documenting that journey and it resonated with a much large audience. But after I stepped into alignment with what I really wanted to experience in life, I documented my journey, and it resonated with A LOT of people. I’m known all around Atlanta and have friends all over the world. Now, I host my own mushroom ceremonies and spiritual retreats. Last year, I led a 9-day retreat in Morocco and this summer I’ll be in Costa Rica with a new group of divine beings. My mushroom ceremonies have been an amazing way to bless the community with healing and unconditional love. I hire trained facilitators to help assist in the self-actualization of everyone involved, and together, we have intense spiritual experiences. I love seeing the light in others and helping them tap into their higher self.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I have always been an extrovert with an activated throat chakra. I’ve tried my hand at all kinds of hobbies. Singing, dancing, pageantry, fashion designing, gymnastics, pole dancing, etc. I enjoyed all of it, but my first love has always been poetry. I’ve been writing and performing since I was 12 and I was known for it all throughout middle, high school, and college. After eight years, my book, Brown Girl Almighty, will finally be published in May 2024 and every aspect of me is looking forward to it.
