Life & Work with Tyrone Lane and Mychal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tyrone Lane and Mychal.

Hi Tyrone and Mychal, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Tyrone: I came up with Kingscirclepodcast because I wanted a space for our people to have a real conversations about issues in our community and I couldn’t do it without my best friend I’ve known since middle school Mychal. I came to him with the idea and we got the ball rolling. We are doing this for our people to make a change and have those hard conversations.

Mychal: It started with really having dream to work in communication and broadcasting after college. Things took to a different route in my life for the better. Right now, I work as a traveling project manager for commercial buildings.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Tyrone: To me, it was a smooth road because we knew what we wanted to talk about and we knew the conversations people were having but never was put on media platforms but from buying equipment reaching out to different platforms and advertising, I think we are heading in the right direction.

Mychal: There is always a struggle when you’re on the way to success. Struggling to me is what makes me better and knowledgeable to overcome my next obstacle. Moments you let your struggle take control it’s over!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Tyrone: I’m a local engineer and live sound engineer. I’ve done concerts for Justin Bieber, Tyler the creator, and more in the Atlanta area and now I’m building our podcast and production company EVLOtion productions to bring more content and creators.

Mychal: I’m an artist manager. I’m currently managing a Latino artist named Greenfield out of Atlanta and music management is one of my strong points.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
Tyrone: I would say believe in yourself, love yourself and understand that it doesn’t matter if one or two people like it you gain more to keep going and never stop. Keep God with you in everything you do no matter what anybody says.

Mychal: Honestly, the only thing I would love to let everyone know is don’t give up on what you want. Master your craft. Don’t ever let anyone tell you differently. You’ll be fine!
