Life & Work with Ziggy Felton of East Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ziggy Felton.

Hi Ziggy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
WILDLYFE | Our Story

WILDLYFE was born 2013 on Candler Road at Weirdos Tattoos on the east side of Atlanta. The shop’s owner, Snow, had T-shirt printing equipment, which immediately caught our attention and sparked our creativity. What began as experimentation quickly turned into the foundation of a brand.

We knew we needed a name that reflected our lifestyle and vision. That’s when WILDLYFE came to life—a name that perfectly represents our roots in the skate community, where streetwear fashion collides with punk rock culture. It embodied creativity, originality, and rebellion from the very beginning.

With each passing year, we continued to grow, refine, and elevate the brand. Along the journey, we faced tremendous personal loss, including the passing of close family members. Instead of stopping us, those experiences fueled our determination to keep pushing forward and chasing our dream.

As a husband, father of three, and fashion designer, this journey has become bigger than myself. My passion has inspired my oldest daughter to pursue fashion design; she now attends SCAD Atlanta, following in her father’s footsteps. One day, I hope she will take over the company and carry the WILDLYFE legacy forward.

WILDLYFE has gone on to style some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, appear in over 20 fashion shows, and make a television appearance on FOX 5’s Portia Fox show. Today, we continue to reach new heights, elevating year after year while staying true to our roots.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of our greatest struggles along the way have been losing close family members and facing financial limitations. Without outside funding, we built the brand solely from our own budget, working tirelessly to afford the resources needed to keep WILDLYFE moving forward.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
First and foremost, my love for fashion began when I was a kid. Over the years, I’ve become known not just as a stylist, but also as a life coach—someone whose purpose is to make people feel good, confident, and empowered through what they wear.

I’m known for pushing boundaries and taking creativity to the next level, blending fashion and art into wearable pieces that tell a story. I believe clothing should be more than fabric—it should be an expression of life, emotion, and individuality.

One of my proudest moments was appearing on the FOX 5 Portia Fox television show, where I had the opportunity to speak about my brand and my journey on live television. Being one of the first people in my family to appear on TV made that moment especially meaningful and unforgettable.

I’m driven by thinking outside the box, breaking rules, and creating without limits—drawing inspiration directly from life and turning it into my craft.

How do you think about happiness?
What brings me the most happiness in my craft is seeing people genuinely excited to wear my pieces. Knowing that something I created can inspire confidence and self-expression means everything to me.

It also means the world to see my only son wanting to be just like his dad and watching my oldest daughter attend college for the very profession I’m in, following in my footsteps. Those moments remind me that my passion is bigger than fashion—it’s legacy.

Being able to provide for my family while chasing my dream is what truly fulfills me and keeps me motivated every day.
