Hi Zoe’, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Growing up in the urban expanse of Riverdale, GA. I cherished a childhood brimming with carefree days, vivacious adventures, and boundless love from friends and family. Now settled in the embrace of South Georgia, alongside my devoted husband and two wonderful boys, my heart finds its truest joy in the role of motherhood, but my identity extends beyond this as I wear the hats of a financial consultant, editor, and minister.
At my core, I am a mother deeply devoted to her family and profoundly attuned to the beckoning of the divine. The voice of God reached out to me through a dream, entrusting me with a clear mission: to craft literature that uplifts every child across the globe. I was tasked to remind them of their essence in God’s eyes, nurturing their authentic selves and encouraging them to embrace the identities bestowed upon them by their Creator.
This divine call bore fruit in the form of Rainbow Promise, LLC and the collection of books titled “In My Father’s Eyes.” The inaugural step on this journey commenced in October of 2022 with the release of a paperback affirmation book. Guided by faith and an unwavering commitment, I have since expanded my brand’s offerings. Today, my collection includes a myriad of treasures ranging from additional books to exquisite affirmation posters and an array of meaningful paraphernalia.
My mission transcends personal ambition; it is a testament to the values I wish to impart to my sons. Through my endeavors, I aim to exemplify the fruits of steadfast labor while delivering a poignant message from the Father to the young boys and girls who inhabit this world. It is my sincerest desire for them to recognize that they are seen by the God, their voices are heard, and their path is illuminated by eternal guidance.
Through the grace of God and unyielding dedication, my story serves as a testament to the radiant possibilities that arise when one embraces their calling and surrenders to a higher purpose.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Among the many challenges that life presented me, my struggle with self-confidence and unwavering obedience to God proved to be the most profound. For three long years, I wrestled with my own hesitation, failing to heed the clear assignment that God had bestowed upon me. Fear and self-doubt emerged as formidable adversaries, effectively paralyzing my progress. The voice that once resonated so clearly within me became overshadowed by uncertainty, and my lack of experience in the realm of authorship further exacerbated my doubt. I stood at the precipice of creation, unsure of how to initiate the journey.
The task at hand was complicated by the need for an illustrator. The enormity of this requirement loomed large, casting a shadow of doubt over my abilities. Each attempt to muster the courage to proceed was thwarted by the sheer magnitude of the undertaking.
Yet, in a transformative moment of clarity, I came to realize that God’s purpose transcended my own pride. His plan was vast, reaching far beyond the confines of my comfort zone. This realization acted as a catalyst, propelling me into motion. I began to inch forward, guided by the belief that my purpose was intrinsically linked to a higher calling.
What unfolded next has been a testament to divine intervention and the miraculous. With each tentative step I took, it seemed as though God Himself was illuminating the path ahead. A single step on my part was met with a cascade of direction as if each stride I made was met with the guiding hand of the divine. This remarkable sequence of events taught me an invaluable lesson: that by relinquishing control and stepping beyond my own inhibitions, I allowed space for the miraculous to unfold.
This journey has imparted upon me the wisdom that often the biggest obstacle on our path is the one we construct ourselves. I’ve learned to surrender to the unfolding of a greater plan, to set aside my fears and doubts, and to trust in the divine roadmap that lies before me. In the convergence of self-belief and obedience, I discovered a wellspring of strength that surmounted the barriers I once believed insurmountable.
In sharing this journey, I hope to inspire others to cast aside the self-imposed limitations that hinder their potential. For it is in the release of fear, the embrace of divine guidance, and the willingness to take that first step that we pave the way for our own extraordinary transformations.

From a young age, the seeds of creativity were deeply sown within me. While I may have carried a shyness in my heart during my childhood, the realm of arts provided me a fertile ground to flourish. A remarkable transformation would occur whenever I stood before a microphone or stepped onto a stage; suddenly, a once-reticent soul would ignite with vitality. This metamorphosis was the essence of my creativity, my sanctuary where I truly came alive.
As time progressed, my relationship with creativity evolved into something profound. Even now, I often find solace by escaping into the recesses of my mind, giving voice to my innermost thoughts solely through the dance of pen and paper. This act, this private communion with the written word, has become a sanctuary where my soul finds its truest expression.
It’s a divine blessing that I am fortunate to experience vivid visions bestowed upon me by God Himself. My dreams are saturated with hues and shades that transcend the ordinary. The overwhelming yet comforting sensation of witnessing those vivid colors manifest into reality is the essence of what my Rainbow Promise projects represent. They are a tangible tapestry woven from the threads of my dreams.
An element that has often set my work apart is the innate ability to distill the profound messages of God into accessible simplicity. Those who have crossed paths with my children’s books and projects have remarked upon this gift. I’ve been told that I possess a unique talent to translate the Word of God into terms that resonate with the hearts and minds of children. It’s a distinction I hold close to my heart.
At the heart of my creative process is the act of relaying messages entrusted to me by a higher source. The message is delivered with clarity, aimed at the ears and hearts of children, unfettered by unnecessary complexities. I see myself as a humble messenger, a conduit through which the divine reaches the minds of the young, untangling the profound truths in a way that they can embrace and understand.
This journey of creative expression has unfolded like a canvas, painted stroke by stroke with the guidance of a higher purpose. It is my hope that through my work, children can grasp the brilliance of simplicity and the boundless love that flows through every word, every color, and every moment of divine connection.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Reflecting on my journey, I can’t help but acknowledge the times I’ve fallen short in dedicating moments to my own happiness. It’s a realization that dances along the line of self-discovery and, at times, verges on the edge of shame. A fleeting thought about happiness often surfaces – it seems to weave in and out of my life like a passing breeze. Its presence wavers in response to my mood shifts in circumstances, and the ebb and flow of my surroundings.
However, amidst this transient nature of happiness, I’ve unearthed a gem of insight: joy finds its truest form in the realm of inner peace. Within this tranquil state of being lies a profound contentment that remains unaffected by the whims of external factors. It’s a peace that’s rooted in unwavering certainty – the conviction that I’m traversing the very path that God has meticulously charted for me.
This sense of assurance is where my joy takes root. Irrespective of my feelings towards my current circumstances, a profound flourishing of inner peace occurs when I anchor myself in the tapestry of God’s plan. It’s in these moments of surrender and trust that my spirit finds its resting place, and the gentle glow of contentment unfurls within me.
In essence, my journey towards happiness has led me to the realization that it’s not about chasing fleeting moments of elation, but rather about nurturing a steady undercurrent of serenity. This serenity springs forth from the bedrock of faith, where the roadmap of life is held by hands far more knowing than my own.
