Today we’d like to introduce you to 3D.
So, before we jump into specific questions about your music, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I first started doing music at the age of 17 in 2008 with the well-known producer willafool, I was a part of a group called team cashy which consisted of four people up until 2015. When me and my brother started The Nation and met up with another well-known producer YoungMercyBeatz and started creating music and dropped our first single entitled “Do Better” in 2017, followed by another single, we dropped Entitled “I Miss The Old You” in 2018 and dropped an Album entitled “Down To Come Up” at the top of 2019. Around June of 2019, I ventured off as a solo artist with the name “3D” and built another relationship with a well-known producer ChrizBeatz and dropped our first hit single together on October 31st “Ain’t No Tellin”. This has been a long road for me and I wanted to share my story and tell the world to dream big anything is possible and don’t let anyone discourage you from your dreams even if you’re the only one who believes just keep going.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I had a lot of struggles along the way from being around the wrong crowd to people not believing in me. I was at the point where I was sleeping in cars just to have somewhere to go. I didn’t want to lean on anybody for help at that point in my life, I stayed down pushed thru and I’m here now still making music.
What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of? What sets you apart from others?
I’m an artist from Atlanta, GA. I’m known for making good quality music that the world will love. What sets me apart from my peers is that I make music from the soul and makes it fun. I don’t condone in all the killing and shooting people up. I lost my lil sister to gun violence so I don’t promote that in my music… my biggest inspiration are my kids.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan for the future is to provide a better situation and platform for my kids and family. I’m looking for the world to hear my story.
