Aaron Thomas AKA DJ Aroc has more than 20 years of professional DJ experience. Self – promoted house parties quickly led to the branding and creation of A-Roc Limited, which has generated an impressive following over the past two decades. At Ohio University, he quickly turned the bars where he DJ’d into the most happening spots on campus. Now an Ohio University Alum, he continues to work closely with University events and opened for many high profile artists including: Wiz Khalifa, Shaggy, B.O.B., Aaron Carter, and the Ying Yang Twins.
In addition to his University ties, he is quite popular during wedding season, both locally and throughout the country. With more than 200 weddings under his belt, he masters the art of playing for any age group and knows the importance of playing for the crowd. The goal is to keep everyone dancing, smiling, and involved in creating memories to last a lifetime!
Desiring to further share his love of and talent for DJ’ing, he applied for a position with cruise mogul, Carnival, and quickly became a sought after Professional DJ aboard one of the world’s most popular cruise lines. He incorporates his music knowledge, great mic presence, and personality to ensure everyone has an unforgettable time. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road to success has not been easy with so many obstacles due the color of my skin at times. As I worked to attract the high end cliental it become a reality that most felt I could provide the service similar companies were offering. I began to research the competition and the main difference was not the equipment nor experience but seem to be the owner / staff. I never use race or color as an obstacle, so I just worked harder to provide my worth to future clients. I worked harder and encourage past clients to use google reviews and other platforms to leave positive feedback about my services.

I offer an entertainment company, DJ service, Photo booth service and emcee/ hosting services. What set us apart from most companies is the professional experience and knowledge we bring to each event. We with over 20 years in the business, working events from weddings, private parties to cruise ships, experience is everything.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The goal is to continue to grow the company with new talent who has a passion for entertainment.
