So when I tried to sell my gold, I found out they were paying 20%-40% of the actual value & that’s after haggling 30 min or more. Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The past few years has been a struggle to stay in business. We can only pay 80% for the Precious Metals and the market set their price. In 2011, Gold was $1900.00 per ounce. In 2016, Gold went as low as $1,000.00 an ounce. So the old class ring that once was $350-$450 is now only worth $180-$230. Most people shake their heads and walk out the door without selling and it’s hard to pay rent when that happens.

We had young couple that was lured in to making a Large Boat Purchase by a high-pressure salesman and they were going to let the bank take it back and ruin their credit. The Lord has been our helper #1. Secondly, we have had several very great employees! One of which just passed away this past year. We also like Chickfila and Quality Foods Grocery and several others observe the Lord’s Day, and are closed on Sundays. One of the main reasons I feel we are still in business because God Honors and Blesses those that honor and glorify Him.
