Meet Adam Tedder of CLEAR PATH FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC in Suwanee

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Tedder.

Dr. Tedder, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My name is Dr. Adam Tedder and I have been practicing chiropractic in Gwinnett County for just over nine years now. I grew up a chiropractic kid and have chosen chiropractic as my primary healthcare choice for over 23 years. I always knew I wanted to help people in whatever career I chose. I never thought I would do that through chiropractic until I felt the call to do so roughly 14 years ago. I used to be a lineman for a power company, that is until one day I fell down a pole, about 20 feet. I got very lucky that I caught myself and didn’t hit the ground. Although I loved my job at the time, this event pushed me to look for a different long-term career. I was introduced to a specific form of chiropractic, upper cervical spinal care. It resonated with me so much that I decided to go back to school to get my doctorate. I graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2010. I have studied under the top upper cervical chiropractors in the world and now teach and certify doctors and students in chiropractic technique and business protocols across the US through an accredited certification program. I have traveled to Dominican Republic, Haiti and San Quentin Prison for chiropractic mission trips with chiropractic organizations and was able to share this vital care with communities that would otherwise have no resources or access to quality healthcare.

“My mission is to restore the health of and help the members of our community reach their naturally given health potential by helping them raise healthy families through specific chiropractic.”

One of the greatest things happened in January of 2016, my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Charlee Madelyn. However, we encountered several road blocks during this year that led me to make the decision to take a break from practice to refocus our business plans and take time with our new baby girl. Family is everything to us, hence why our practice name has family in the title.

In October of 2016, a colleague opened his office for us to share space on the days he was not seeing patients. This was the perfect situation for us to get back to work and we were so grateful! We practiced there for roughly a year while we built out our new practice, Clear Path Family Chiropractic. We opened November of 2017 and haven’t looked back! We are now one of the fastest growing practices in Gwinnett County and we are so grateful for our practice members and our tribe. In our office you don’t become a patient, you become family. This is the foundation our practice is built on.

Our practice’s foundation is a neurologically based chiropractic approach called upper cervical spinal care. We also employ full spine adjustments when needed. Through specific chiropractic care, we are able to provide care for pediatrics, prenatal and entire families. We also see more acute concerns such as neck/back pain, migraines, whiplash injuries, concussions, vertigo, fibromyalgia, and more. We get great results because we seek to find the cause of the problem, instead of just masking it by treating the symptoms only. Our care is safe, gentle, scientific and most importantly, effective. Our team includes my wife Kalyn, our chiropractic assistant Somma and myself.

We’d love to hear more about your practice.
With a focus on the upper cervical spine, I am a doctor of chiropractic that focuses on the intimate relationship between the top two bones in the neck, the Atlas and Axis, and more importantly, a vital portion of the nervous system called the brainstem. This relationship is absolutely essential to the body’s ability to restore and preserve health. I work with individuals and families to overcome health obstacles and help them reach their fullest God-given health potential.

Every healing profession acknowledges that the body has an inborn or innate ability to heal itself. By restoring these healing messages, your body will operate at its very best and heal itself from the top down, and the inside out. Through upper cervical chiropractic care, I focus in family care, pediatrics, pregnancy, severe neurological problems like migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, seizure disorders, and more. In the end, if you are a child or a grandparent and have brain and spine, your life and health could benefit from regular chiropractic care.

Our mission is to provide our patients with quality care in a family-friendly environment. We work as a team to instill trust in our patients for their care and the care of their friends and family. Our office focuses on facilitating natural and preventative health, healing and balance. Chiropractic is a science, art, and philosophy that concerns itself with the relationship between the nervous system, spinal alignment and the function (health) of the body. Your entire family can greatly benefit from chiropractic care to create a healthy lifestyle. We can help get your nervous system functioning properly and improve your family’s overall health- newborns, children, teenagers, pregnant moms, athletes, and adults are all welcome!

As a company we are proud of the family feel of our practice, the exceptional healing experience we provide, and our community outreach programs. Patient education regarding how the body heals and functions, our specific tailored approach to care for each individual and our focus on families are the fundamental aspects of our practice that set us apart.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love Atlanta! I was born and raised here in Gwinnett County, so the Atlanta area has been home for me my whole life. Even though we live in the burbs, we love venturing into the city to enjoy its many attractions, restaurants and community events. Kalyn is from a small town in Florida, so when she visited Atlanta, she fell in love with it too. I even proposed to Kalyn on the helicopter pad of the W in Buckhead, and took a sunset helicopter tour of the city. So, we love the culture, adventure and diversity the city offers.

Our dislikes are the traffic, definitely the traffic, and just the fast-paced nature our city seems to have. While the energy is infectious when it comes to entertainment, it makes it stressful day-to-day. Stress is what makes us sick, so that is a huge issue I see with patients that come in the practice. I would love to see our community slow down a bit, enjoy our moments each day, because they can go by so quickly.
