Meet Ade

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ade.

Ade, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My brother picked up a laptop four years ago, one day to learn how to make beats, he put my voice on a track and that was the beginning and the end. I felt like everything sort of aligned and I knew what I was meant to do, and that was music. I didn’t expect to be an artist it sort of just happened. My plans where to be an artist manager and help as many talented people as I could, but the mic just kept calling me back.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s definitely not been a smooth road, working with a team is hard especially since everyone has different opinions on what is best and sometimes, we clash on that. Also, money wise, it’s hard to finance everything we want to be done since we are up and coming. There have been so many no’s and too little yes’s. Also, the competition, there are so many people out there doing the exact same thing so we constantly try to stand out.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am an artist based in Atlanta, GA, signed to Kurrupt Nation Ent. I think I am most known for saying what I believe is best even if no one else thinks so. I am really proud of where I am heading in the future and I can’t wait for it.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
I definitely think honesty and dedication will play a big role in it. Also, doesn’t hurt to try and keep the right people around you.
