Adrian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
From the age of five, I’ve been immersed in the world of music. As the youngest member of the choir and praise team, I showcased my talent and dedication. By the time I was eight, I ventured into regional musical theatre, marking my entry into the entertainment industry. A career in showbiz demands discipline and maturity beyond one’s years, explaining why big companies hesitate to hire young performers who may not act the part. However, I’ve always understood the importance of maintaining focus and professionalism from a tender age.
As my journey continued, I expanded my horizons into TV and film, and I am delighted to share that I recently secured my first movie role in the highly anticipated “The Color Purple” slated for release on December 25th, 2023.
With over ten years of experience in the industry, I possess a wealth of knowledge on navigating the path to success as a young entertainer and CEO. This prompted me to establish Adrian Jstn Entertainment LLC in 2022, a company dedicated to creating more opportunities for artistic expression. I also created a magazine called “Seventy7 Magazine” which was created to shine a spotlight on black success. I am driven by a desire to empower individuals who may face challenges, ensuring they believe in their ability to transform their dreams into reality. The connections and support I’ve cultivated along the way have been truly heartwarming.
I believe that everything happens for a reason and in its own time. I trust in God’s plan for my life and will continue to dream, create, inspire, and follow the path that has been laid out for me.

Over the past year, I have dedicated myself to a journey of self-care and personal growth, prioritizing my mental and physical well-being. I conscientiously crafted a daily workout routine, embraced prayer as a source of strength, and committed to journaling as a means of self-reflection. My focus was on ensuring that I was truly okay, both inside and out. Consequently, I am immensely proud of the progress I have made.
By being kind to myself and nurturing my own well-being, I have discovered an unexpected transformative power – the ability to extend kindness and compassion to others. In the past, I regretfully admit that I may have inadvertently projected negativity onto others due to a lack of self-care. But now, armed with a greater sense of self-awareness and emotional resilience, I approach life with a newfound understanding.
I have learned that by taking care of my own needs and addressing any inner challenges, I can better navigate the complexities of life and interactions with others. This has enabled me to break free from negative patterns and develop a more positive and empathetic approach to my relationships.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Since I was a little kid, I’ve always been quite outgoing and confident, and attending church became one of my favorite things to do. That’s where I first discovered my love for music. When I was just five years old, I started singing in my church’s choir and even became the youngest member to ever join the praise team.
Ever since that time, music has been a big part of my life. Throughout my school years, I would try to perform anywhere I could, from Kindergarten all the way up to High School.
One of the things that makes me stand out is that I’ve always been the type to do things my own way. Even from a young age, I knew that I had a special calling over my life. When I was in Kindergarten, I went to a school where we had to wear uniforms, but I was feeling extra and wanted to wear suits. Every day, I’d wear a different suit to school. Eventually, the school called my grandma for a PTA meeting and told her that all the other kids wanted to start wearing suits to school every day too.
My story is all about following your passion and being true to yourself, no matter what. So if you have a dream, always remember to go for it and be confident in who you are.
