Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Sasine.
Adrian Sasine is an Atlanta native and career Marketer. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from UGA and GSU focused in Marketing, and spent the first 10 years of his career in Corporate America running major sponsorships and promotions throughout the Southeast. When it was time for a change, he found himself as the Director of Marketing for a well-known competitor in the advertising specialty industry. After learning the ropes, Adrian and a former business partner decided to launch their own company – one that focuses on the customer relationship.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I think most people running their own business would agree it’s never smooth when you are first starting out. It takes time to learn when to put on certain “hats” and when to take off others. Otherwise you find yourself always working in the business and never on it. What is “success” or “successful” for you?
This is a great question, I was just talking to a friend of mine the other day about how we live our lives and our definition of “wealth” or “personal success.” It’s a topic very important to me as I used to do some motivational speaking on the topic of goal setting. Let me say first that my definition has certainly changed over the years. It’s less about financial milestones and more how I’m impacting the community around me especially in the eyes of my children. Success to me is a one word answer: Happiness. The hardest thing about that kind of goal is you can’t just hit it and stop, it takes constant work.
