My name is Alexander Pollock also known as AGOD Hip Hop artist from my birthplace Miami, FL owner of Golden Money Team founded in 2018. He is an entrepreneur, songwriter, rapper, and record executive. Raised in Miami, FL growing up in the hood it wasn’t easy. As a young adolescent, violence, crime, and police brutality was normal, something AGOD experienced growing up. Being beaten by the police also being falsely persecuted for a crime accumulating a time of ten years incarcerated behind bars didn’t stop AGOD from accomplishing his goal of becoming an artist in this rap game. My passion for music came from my Uncle Emery, who was a DJ for Uncle Luke, also known as Luke Skywalker. He used to bring home unreleased videos before they came out and show me what video was about to be released and play music for me to listen to. So growing up, music was a big deal in my family. My mother, Jeanette Williams, was the first black flutist to play in a band at Coral Gables Senior High School, so music runs through my bloodline. My passion for music led me into getting into online marketing. I first started out with organic marketing and develop my own formula.
Then I formed my own team I added a coder and now I have seven marketing agents whose role is to bring in clients and post any material my company posts online, building SEO and driving organic traffic to clients which has never been done before in the history of marketing. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There was struggles along the way, starting from scratch basically finding the information online that I needed to be successful and developing strategies to be effective. At first, it was just an idea to form a marketing company then I acted on that vision. All I started out with was a domain name and once I purchased that domain, I started doing research on how to build an SEO presence then developed my own formula. Looking at the competition and seeing what other marketing companies didn’t offer. It wasn’t a smooth road but with consistency of dedication, I managed to gain the trust of artists that were established in the music industry and build up their social media presence online. Starting with nothing is the hardest part then convincing someone that you can actually do the work was a struggle at first. Before I started making my mark online or began working with artists, I started practicing marketing schemes on myself as an artist then, once I developed a proven formula, I started reaching out to other people and basically was doing the work for free to build up my brand and a good reputation. As years passed, I started developing a team and forming partnerships. None of the success that I’m having right now was overnight success, it actually took years and dedication to work.
