Today we’d like to introduce you to Allie Riebau.
Allie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We started our journey as a family of Black Belts about 10 years ago. Although there are many reasons why our passion for the art and love of teaching others is the foundation of our decision to open our own studio. We believe in making the community a better place one black belt at a time by developing each student both mentally and physically with character development and a variety of intense training. We love changing lives for the better and through martial arts, we are able to do just that!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been a fairly smooth road for us. As new business owners, there have been some growing pains and lessons to learn through trial and error, but we have had the support of each other, family, friends, and other fellow martial arts school owners. Our equipment supplier has been an amazing resource as well…
Finding the right way to teach our program a step above the competition was probably the biggest challenge. We kept an open mind and were very receptive to our students’ needs. We decided we would not hesitate to change things up as needed in order to better serve our students. At this point, I feel we have a pretty great program with a fantastic student body!

The style we teach is Hap Ki Do. We have special classes for kids as young as 3 years old to 5 years old, a fabulous kids’ program for ages 6-15, a stellar adult program, an excellent transported after school program, and we also offer cardio kickboxing and Zumba* classes as well. Our focus on developing each student as a whole along with our variety of programs set us apart from the competition. We are most proud of the success of our students! It is wonderful to watch them develop into awesome martial artists and reach their own personal goals! We are known for being a family orientated martial arts studio with something for everyone to enjoy.
