Today we’d like to introduce you to Andre Brown.
Andre, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my photography business in January of 2015, photographing my first wedding in April 2015. I’d made the transition over to photography after many years of working in the music business managing songwriters and producers. During that time I’d been on many photo, movie and television sets which is when my initial interest in photography began.
Has it been a smooth road?
Praise God, the road has been pretty smooth considering. Jumping into a new business there are always challenges, but I’d been blessed enough to have very little obstacles along the way.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Andre Brown Photography story. Tell us more about the business.
We specialize in wedding photography and have recently added wedding videography to our repertoire. We’d quickly become known for our modern, stylish portraits. When I am working, whether it’s weddings or portraits, I aim to add an editorial flair to the images.
I am extremely proud of how we’ve been able to grow in these last couple of years.
Finding our identity and setting ourselves apart by not looking to do what everyone else is doing, but doing what we love to do and seeing that there is a demand for it in the marketplace.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Videography and the fusion of Photo and Video is going to be huge in the coming years. It was already leaning that when I started.
