Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew McCoy.
Hi Andrew, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started back in 2022 just practicing with my camera trying to a get a feel of taking pictures learning angles and different types of photography building my experience. Today, I am taking photos of what catches my eye when I drive around the different locations throughout every day. Also, I’ve been getting booked to do portraits as well which is also helping me with my craft.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been smooth lately since I’ve learned to balance photography with my personal life. Sometimes it’s to find different content to take pictures of but now I’m starting to use my resources to help.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In photography, I specialize in street, nature, and experiencing portrait photography. I’ve been most proud of my “eye” for photography as in certain. Shots that I take that captures a specific moment in the photo. Personally, I can’t say what sets me apart from others, but I’ve been told I have a unique style when it comes to my photos.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I feel remaining humble but also having confidence in my work is important. I never think I’m better than anyone; I always support everybody in what they do. I share knowledge of what I know and give advice. I’m all about helping and learning from others.
