Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course, there are always obstacles in the business and personal world. You have to know how to deal with them. I treat all of my obstacles as opportunities. I look at them as the ways I can improve myself and be better at things.

RESICAP – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I work for RESICAP, the leading vertically integrated solution for institutional owners of single-family residential assets in the United States. We do asset management, acquisition/disposition, construction, property management and more throughout 34 states, managing over 23,000 homes. We recently launched a homebuilding company, ResiBuilt, that develops dedicated rental communities throughout Atlanta and has over 1,800 lots in the pipeline. Since 2017 I’ve worked on the investments side of the business where I’m responsible for acquisitions & dispositions of our distressed investment funds. Over the last nine years, we have bought, stabilized, and sold over 10,000 distressed homes for various clients through raising funds. Our investments are geared more towards the southeast markets i.e., Atlanta but we continue to evaluate markets deemed potentials.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
When I left my comfortable corporate finance job at Siemens to go into the private SFR sector, at the time, my friends & family thought I was crazy when I left such a promising career at a Fortune 50 company. Now looking back, that was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have learned a lot and made a lot of good connections since then.
