Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Jackson.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Angel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I moved to Georgia from Connecticut. I was an avid juicer when I moved to Snellville and was sadly surprised when I realized there were no juice bars in the area. I was led to smoothie shops but had to travel a minimum of 30 minutes for a fresh-pressed juice. It was then that my dream of opening a juice bar had to happen sooner than later.
While living in Connecticut I had always talked about wanting to open a juice bar, not knowing God was preparing to put me in the exact place I needed to be in perfect timing for that to come to fruition. During a work out session, I asked a good friend of mine, Iesha McKenzie if she wanted to open a juice bar with me as she loved to juice as well and from there together we planned, brainstormed and created iGet Juiced.
Has it been a smooth road?
It wasn’t a smooth road but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a struggle. It was a learning process and a labor of love. Being an entrepreneur is a journey and your constantly growing, even through lessons, we are planting seeds and growing to keep achieving new heights. The hardest part so far has been the time it takes away from your family, friends and social life start and run a new business.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the iGet Juiced story. Tell us more about the business.
iGet Juiced is a juice bar that makes fresh-pressed juices, vegetable packed smoothies that are made with all-natural fruits and vegetables. We do not use any canned or jarred fruits that are in syrups and sugar. We only use the fruits and vegetables, no additives, preservatives, no sugar. Our smoothie bowls are very popular, and our fresh handcrafted salads and kale wraps, avocado toast are a big hit as well.
We also make wellness and specialty shots to boost immunity, reduce inflammation, increase energy, etc. Last but not least are juice packages and gallon size detox tonic are popular for those who are looking to give their bodies a break from solid foods. We are most proud of the integrity of our products and the pride in our brand. We want people to equate iGet Juiced to consistent quality and freshness. Our customers know what they are getting when they come into iGet Juiced.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
