Meet Anis Hennawi of Volare Bistro

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anis Hennawi.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Anis. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was born in Beirut, Lebanon and grew up in a small village near Beirut. From a young age, I had a great love of food and a passion for cooking. I pursued my passion which took me from Beirut to Monrovia, Liberia and now I am here in Atlanta, Ga where I serve as Executive Sous Chef at Volare specializing in Mediterranean, and New American cuisine.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I’ve been fortunate to have traveled and experience life and different cultures around the world. One exciting challenge for me is learning the customs and culture of that country.
