Today we’d like to introduce you to Anisa Green.
Anisa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I graduated from Clark Atlanta University in May 2015 with a Public Relations degree. I was currently working as a Jr. Publicist at Echoingsoundz firm when I felt I wanted more of a challenge. In October 2015, I founded my own boutique firm “Stamped” with my very first client, a female barber and reality star named Lisa B. From there, I kept expanding and growing and now, I have worked with over 50 clients.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some of my struggles along the way were definitely the Entrepreneurial woes that every entrepreneur go through. You have to believe in your vision and know that sometimes it’s greater later. Also, you encounter clients that don’t want to pay you what you’re worth. This prompted me to make sure all my paperwork was in order always.
Stamped – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Stamped is my baby! We specialize in Public Relations, Brand Management, & Marketing/Communications. We have been blessed to work with household names such as Xzibit, Masika Kalysha, 21 Savage, & Mike Will Made it. What sets us apart from others is the fact that we are really apart of the culture. We gain respect because we really put in the work. A lot of publicists is more worried about their own personal looks instead of their clients. The publicist should never make the client feel as if they want to be the star too.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
You are as successful as you believe you are. Money is just a trophy and will come regardless if you do the job right and have a vision. You may believe I have way more work to do and goals to hit but to some, you might be just where they want to be. You can’t measure that just always believe and know you want to be greater.
