Almost a decade ago, when I became a mother for the first time, my life changed drastically. Caught up in the demands of motherhood, I found myself battling postpartum depression, struggling to carve out time for myself. It wasn’t until a year later that I discovered the transformative power of permanent makeup. Starting with my eyebrows, then my eyeliners and lips, these treatments became a turning point in my life. They not only boosted my confidence but also saved me precious time.
For me, permanent makeup was a lifeline. It allowed me to reclaim a sense of myself amidst the challenges of motherhood. Recognizing its profound impact on my life, I made a bold decision to leave behind my office job and pursue a career in permanent makeup. It was a leap driven by passion—I had found something I truly loved to do.
Since then, my journey as a Permanent Makeup Artist has been fulfilling and rewarding. Each day, I have the privilege of helping others enhance their natural beauty and regain confidence. It’s not just a career; it’s a calling—one that has brought me immense joy and purpose.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey as a permanent makeup artist has been filled with challenges and unexpected twists. Moving from my home country of Vietnam to the US meant starting anew from scratch. Just as I began to settle into my new career, the COVID-19 pandemic struck, causing a significant downturn in business. At one point, it seemed like I might have to put my passion on hold indefinitely.
During those uncertain times, I supported my husband’s business and kept my dream alive. As the situation gradually improved and life began to return to normalcy, I eagerly returned to permanent makeup—the art that inspires and fulfills me like nothing else.
Despite the obstacles I’ve faced, my dedication to this craft has only strengthened. Each challenge has taught me resilience and reaffirmed my passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful through permanent makeup.

As a permanent makeup and fine line body tattoo artist, I specialize in a range of techniques including Nano Hairstroke Brows, Ombre Powder Brows, Eyeliner Tattoos, Lips Blushing, and intricate Fine Line Tattoos. What distinguishes my work is my dedication to customization. I believe in tailoring each procedure to the individual because I recognize and honor the uniqueness of every client.
For eyebrows, I meticulously design shapes using the golden ratio while considering each client’s distinct facial features. This ensures that every eyebrow I create is not only distinct but also harmoniously complements their face and maintain their natural look. Similarly, when it comes to fine line tattoos, I collaborate closely with clients to capture their vision, ensuring each tattoo is a one-of-a-kind piece.
