Ansley, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Apricity is an old English term meaning the warmth of the sun on a cold winter’s day. Everyone has experienced that feel good moment when it’s cold and the sun comes out and warms you right up. This is how we want our customers to feel when they shop with Apricity Boutique! We want to help our customers chase their dreams and look chic while doing it!
Apricity Boutique was started by Ansley Wesler, a graduate from the University of Alabama with a degree in Fashion Retailing. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Ansley attended a small private school where plain uniforms were required, which sparked her interest in fashion. Ansley’s interest in fashion quickly became an obsession and passion. Her fashion career began with Michael Kors, and she later accepted a position with BCBGMAXAZRIA.
After marrying her college sweetheart, she decided to branch out and fulfill her real dream of starting a boutique. Apricity will strive to feature new and upcoming designers to help others get their start. This will provide Apricity Boutique customers with unique styles that cannot be found anywhere else. Thanks to the help and support of family and friends, Apricity Boutique was born! KEEP SHINING!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not always been easy! Our major obstacle has been marketing! We are constantly looking for the best outlet to reach our customers and gain new ones! Establishing ourselves as a reputable online retailer has been another challenge with so many overseas websites that tend to take customers money and never send the product. We strive to let people know that we are small boutique based out of Atlanta that wants to make you look and feel amazing in new clothing!

Apricity Boutique is an online women’s clothing and accessories boutique based in Atlanta, GA! We specialize in selling affordable and fashion-forward apparel for women in college to those in the working world. We are always looking for new brands and designers to add to our boutique to keep our selection fresh and unique. Apricity is an old English term meaning the warmth of the sun on a cold Winters day. We fell in love with the name and want our customers to have that feel good moment wearing our clothing!
Confidence can be the most attractive quality in a woman and the perfect outfit can help with that. We are most proud of our connections we have made with our customers over the past three years! Our ability to listen to what our customers sets us apart from other boutiques because we really try to listen and provide what our customers wants!
What were you like growing up?
I was very outgoing growing up! I used to love being the center of attention and sing my favorite country song, even though I could not carry a tune! I found an interest in fashion at an early age, since I went to a private school and had to wear uniforms.
I always enjoyed shopping and finding the perfect outfit for occasions because it was something I didn’t get to do very often! I had a major freak out when I went to college because I thought I didn’t have enough clothes. I guess wearing a uniform for thirteen years can do that to you! In college, I was always the girl that my sorority sisters asked to borrow clothes from or what to wear. I love helping women find the perfect outfit that helps them feel confident!
