Today we’d like to introduce you to Anthony Clark. They and their team shared their story with us below:
Meet Anthony Clark, a young man searching for his first true love while being raised in the treacherous surroundings of “Atlanta’s Zone 6.” He is the owner of THREE C STUDIOS and THREE C PUBLISHING. He is a man of God who highly values his spirituality.
He is an Award Winning Film Producer, Mentor, Public Speaker, Partner in Education, and an Accomplished Author and Publisher. In his book entitled “Broken, Bruised and Confused” Anthony opens his heart and gets raw as he recounts some of the events in his intimate love relationships and the pressures of life as a young African American male trying to avoid becoming a statistical black man in America’s society.
In volume 1 titled “In The Beginning There Was Love.” Anthony Clark unveils how being raised by a divorced and single mother in a broken household, led him down a path of making some really bad choices that almost cost him his life. Anthony Clark exposes those traumatic events that he experienced and recalls how he faced those adverse times with courage and tenacity.
Throughout his voyage, Anthony Clark was ultimately led back to his first love, “God” during those trying times. This distressing expedition led him to increasing his faith and depending solely on the most high God’s plans for his life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road to becoming a executive producer, filmmaker, publisher, and successful businessman has been no easy journey for me. During my expedition to becoming the best version of myself, there have been many peaks and valleys along the way. One of the most distressing moments of my life was having to spend time in prison for some mistakes that I made while growing up in the treacherous streets of Atlanta.
Being raised in a single-family home by my loving mother Brenda Clark, had a huge impact on my choices and decisions to run in the deadly streets of Atlanta. A lot of my choices and decisions broke me, bruised me, confused me and ultimately I ended up in prison. However, while serving time in prison I was able to use narrative therapy to help me heal from some past traumas that negatively impacted my life.
I thank God, who is the source of all things for taking me through those trials and tribulations in order for me to have a testimony to share with others, and my prayer is that as God uses me I can encourage someone else to not make the same bad choices that I made.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar with you and your work, can you tell them about what you do?
Thank you for that compliment. I am grateful that God is using me and that my work has impacted others in a positive way. For those who don’t know much about me, well my body of work consists of two award-winning films that I produced entitled, “On Our Way Up” and “Zone 6.” These films were both honored and featured in the Hollywood Black Film Festival. I have also authored and published several books which are entitled “Broken, Bruised And Confused”, “The 48 Laws Of The Chain Gang”, “Beauty For Ashes” and “Faces and Phases”.
My team and I offer a wide range of options for those looking to achieve a high-quality product, no matter if it is a visual, or literary body of work. My motto is, “The Power Is In The Image, and The Image Is Everything!” I stand by my core values which consist of having exclusive quality over common quantity.
I am dedicated and determined to achieving my God-giving purpose, so I have opened my heart and mind to help others achieve the level of success that God has ordained for them as well.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
My thoughts on the role of luck is that, as the world turns, the word luck can be looked at in a few different ways. I prefer to call it serendipity instead, and God having his hand on my life and guiding me to where I belonged, so that he could get the glory. I say that because, during my life’s journey I have always had to put in the work for the opportunities that presented themselves on my road to success. So when the serendipity presented itself, I listened to the voice within my spirit and allowed God to have his way.
However, I have always been grateful and filled with gratitude towards the source of all things “God” for guiding my footsteps to exactly where I needed to be so that things could manifest the way that they needed to in order for God to get the praise. So I don’t see it as luck because I believe that there are no coincidences, and my motto is that “Everything is as it should be.”
