Today we’d like to introduce you to Armani Walton.
Armani, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Growing up being raised by an independent mom taught me how to hustle by any means. If I wanted something, I had to make it happen for myself, in other words, closed mouths don’t get fed. Realizing at a young age that I was the only gay male in my family life wasn’t going to be a walk in the park either. I knew life was going to be way harder for me in whatever career field I choose to conquer. Not to mention growing up and being bullied for being your natural self. I knew people around me didn’t understand me but always knew I would change the world. No matter what I choose to do, I kept my eye on the prize and got whatever I laid my eyes on.
Hosting shows and fashion modeling has always been a thing of mine and I’ve always been the best at it. If it wasn’t for those hard times I went through growing up being the outgoing gay kid on the block.
As of today of the year 2019, I have retired my old stage name formally ”Armani Versace” to a certified public figure ”Armani Walton” in Atlanta Georgia.
Fashion Nova Ambassador, Men’s Style Influencer, LGBTQ Advocate, Actor & Fashion Model.
Also most known for being ”The Bag God”.
Owning a piece of every designer bag known such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent & more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s funny, a lot of people look at my life on social media and think everything is just peaches and cream. Nothing in my life has been easy for me, I just make it look that way. I don’t live life with any regrets everything was worth it but I also don’t idolize some of the things I’ve done in my life. Dealing with fake people in the industry, cutting off jealous broke fake friends, over-working myself, and feeling compared to other models has been tougher than what I thought it would ever be. Through the grace of God, I get through anything with the help of prayer.
So far, the toughest thing went through was actually coming out of the closet.
I remember the day being on a Monday afternoon, me and my mother actually got into a really huge argument over different family issues. I broke down to my knees and I told her I need to tell you something personal that always bothered me. She said, “OK what is it?” I said, “Mommie, I’m so sorry but I’m gay.” She immediately grabbed me and said, “I love you, no matter what your sexuality is your my son and nothing will change that.” I felt so grateful and honored to actually get accepted by my mother that really made my life much easier to deal with because I finally had somebody to converse with about my discreet gay lifestyle. It was like a big relief to actually feel comfortable and tell her everything I was feeling and everything I was going through being her young child that’s gay.
After that day, I had a whole different perspective on life and everything around me but I still didn’t say anything about it to anyone in high school because I had an exact vision about my gay life that I could embrace. As the months went by in high school, I began to embrace who I really was very discreetly. It was only the beginning when I began to research more into the LGBT community. I began learning so much about what it truly means to be a happy gay man in America. After graduating from high school in 2015, I decided that it was time to finally face my truth with my friends and family about my sexual preference.
With the support of my close friends and family members, I decided to come out of the closet to everyone I felt deserved to know the real me. I had no idea that my friends and family would get as close to me as they would.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m most known for being a formal talk show host called ”The Bridge TV24” Seasons 1-3.

Whats sets me apart from others is my vibrate personality and being able to connect with people from all walks of life and that’s reflected in the way I dress myself. My fashion tells a story that many haven’t experienced like myself.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The important characteristics of my success is definitely always being able to find my own lane and stay in it.
Always being a leader in everything that I choose to do. Never been the type to be a follower or follow what the popular people are doing. I bring out the best in myself when it comes to my career and others around me. Always pushing myself to be better than what I used to be or do. Last but not least, having faith in this tough industry.
