Today we’d like to introduce you to Art Murphy.
Art, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I founded the company in 1995 where we began as a private investigation firm utilizing the latest technology as part of the criminal and civil investigations we conducted. As the years went on, we converted to a company that specialized in technology conducting digital forensics investigations, which included handheld device forensics. We continued to work exclusively with wireless technology including the internet of things, GPS tracking fleet management, and wireless internet backup. As technology continued to evolve we obtained various certifications working in the cyber security area to include cyber security breach investigations. In 2014, we created a new division of the company titled IST Mobile Apps. This division became our fastest growing segment of the company and today we continue to develop customized mobile applications for businesses with clients nationwide and worldwide. We continued to involve in the digital marketing space at the request of our clients as we now are involved in reputation management, social marketing, and business internet listing presence. As the company President, I work with our team to adapt to the changing technology and our continued growth.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has not always been smooth. With continued growth, we always had the challenge of finding the right talent to fill our various positions along with identifying the best avenues to finance our expansion needs.

The company today develops, builds and manages customized mobile applications for any type of business or organization at an affordable price. Also, we conduct digital forensics investigations, which included handheld device forensics. We continued to work exclusively with wireless technology including the internet of things, GPS tracking fleet management, and wireless internet backup, cyber security to include cyber security breach investigations. We also work in digital marketing space offering website development, reputation management, social marketing, and helping businesses with their internet listing presence.
What sets us apart is that we specialize in the mobile (wireless) device space, and we affordably develop mobile applications for both Android and Apple devices allowing the small to medium size businesses the opportunity to utilize this technology.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I see success as being determined, consistent and customer focused. Also, by utilizing technology to help with your processes, being innovated, utilizing lean business principles, and foremost working with integrity to build up your customer’s trust.
