Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Transitioning from New York to Atlanta has been a journey of ups and downs. Moving out of state with just one family member in ATL for support made it more challenging, but it also gave me strength and resilience. The cultural differences between the two cities have shifted my perspective completely. Atlanta’s slower pace is a stark contrast to the fast-paced hustle of New York that I was so accustomed to. It feels like time moves differently here. And while Atlanta has its own charm, I have to admit—sorry, but New York’s food scene is unmatched! There’s nothing quite like the variety and flavor I left behind.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Here’s a revised version:
I’m the CEO of **Honeydo Entertainment**, a communications and influencer agency that’s on the verge of launching. My expertise spans across talent management, brand activations, and production in TV, film, and live events. I’ve had the privilege of working with notable figures like Cam Newton as his Chief of Staff and Producer, as well as collaborating with industry leaders such as Terrence J and LaLa Anthony. Currently, I help manage Bamboo Studios (content/production)* in Midtown, Atlanta, where I work closely with Jahliel Thurman (owner) and host of HBCU 101 on AspireTV. I pride myself on building deep, trusted relationships with my clients, offering a level of loyalty and care that drives their success.
One of my proudest achievements has been my ability to excel in multiple areas of the entertainment industry while staying true to my core value of client loyalty. Joining Bamboo Studios has been a significant milestone in my journey, allowing me to contribute to a dynamic and creative space. As I prepare to officially launch Honeydo Entertainment, I’m eager to create a company that reflects my commitment to helping clients thrive.
What sets me apart is my adaptability and personalized approach to every project. Having worked across diverse sectors—production, talent management, and brand strategy—I bring a well-rounded perspective to everything I do. Above all, my dedication to my clients and their success is at the heart of my work. Mentorship from industry veterans like Fred Whitaker has helped shape my journey, instilling in me the values of integrity and passion that define my approach.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
My determination, drive, and my overall “hustler” mentality. I’ve always worked hard, and I’ve done my research. I also like to consider myself family-oriented in the workspace, also chill but very very serious about the job!
