Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley France.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ashley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Shortly after I graduated law school, I moved to Atlanta to work for one of the top 5 fortune 500 companies in the world. I was working on contracts and other agreements for different business units.
I realized there were so many talented creatives and entrepreneurs who had amazing ideas but lacked the knowledge of how to run a business and the logistics from it. I decided to start my company (ANF Consulting, LLC) to help with that. Shortly after, I decided to quit my job at that company and start running my business full time.
Alongside that, I have coached tons of small business owners an entrepreneurs with improving their brand identity and developing an Instagram strategy to propel their business/brand. Currently, I am moving away from coaching to focus on increasing my clientele in the entertainment realm.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road at all, more like a roller coaster. One of the biggest struggles is learning how to make things happen without having a huge budget.
My first three months I didn’t have any clients, but I still had bills to pay and content to put out. Collaborations with other entrepreneurs and business owners are key when you are a new business owner. Another struggle you face as a new business owner is keeping faith within yourself and your purpose.
You constantly question your abilities and if this is what you are supposed to be doing. But you have to trust the process and have faith in what God has in store for you.
Please tell us about ANF Consulting, LLC.
My company ANF Consulting, LLC is a business an entertainment consulting company. We help creatives (artist, producers, actors, models, etc.), entrepreneurs and business owners with business logistics, branding, and Instagram strategy.
We are best known for Instagram strategy and branding. I am most proud of the number of minority businesses an entrepreneurs I have helped propel their business/brand. One of the main things that set me apart is that there is no other company who offers all of these services.
We are a one-stop shop for creatives entrepreneurs. My legal background (I went to law school and specialized in business law) and niche for branding and Instagram strategy. There is no one else with the type of skill set that I possess.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have saved more to have the resources I needed for things such as getting a website created (it took me three weeks to do). I would also change my approach in the people I initially reached out to when I first decided to break into the entertainment industry.
