Aunya’, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up, I always had a passion to help and serve others. My first job was customer service working at Chipotle and all other jobs were customer service as well. When thinking long-term about a career that deals with helping and serving people, I thought of Nursing. I attended college and took all of the beginning classes needed for nursing but started to realize that business was something that really interests me. I started my own small business making custom machine made wig units on a sewing machine as well as selling top quality virgin hair. Since hair and wigs only attract a certain audience (women), I soon realized that I wouldn’t be of service to everyone. I tuned into my passion for health and wellness to figure out how I could help not only women but men and children. I joined a company called Total Life Changes to help people get healthy as well as educating them about their health.

Has it been a smooth road?
Life isn’t always easy and neither is running a business especially when you’re figuring things out yourself. You play every role in your business and you are in charge. There will be times when you’re not motivated or you may just feel like what you’re doing isn’t good enough. In that time, YOU have to be able to pick yourself up and speak positive affirmations so that you can continue to thrive personally and through your business. Figuring out what is best for you can be hard when you listen to other’s opinion so it is imperative that you stay true to yourself and make sure you know exactly what it is that you want out of life. Being very specific with what you want will definitely help long-term. Self-doubt is something that everyone deals with in life, even outside of business and it’s important to not doubt anything. Stop saying “what if” and speak as if its already done. Speak things into existence and speak it with confidence. It will help when times get rough and you have to pull yourself together.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the TLC story. Tell us more about the business.
Total Life Changes was founded in 1999 by Jack Fallon in the basement of his home. Total Life Changes specializes in products dedicated to health and wellness as well as mind, body, and soul.
