Meet Ayanna Bozeman of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ayanna Bozeman.

Hi Ayanna, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Ayanna Bozeman—a passionate storyteller, content creator, and influencer marketing professional with a unique perspective that blends both sides of the creator economy.

My journey began in 2015 on YouTube, where I started sharing my life as a college student at Hampton University. Through my college vlog series, I took my audience behind the scenes of campus life—from classes and sorority events to volunteer work, relationships, and everything in between. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication, and continued documenting my life as I transitioned into adulthood and entered the workforce.

After college, I landed my first role in Miami as an Influencer Marketing Specialist at BoxyCharm, where I spent two and a half years learning the fast-paced beauty industry and building influencer relationships. I later became a Senior Influencer Marketing Manager at Abercrombie, where I led campaigns and worked closely with talent to bring brand stories to life.

Now, I serve as an Influencer Marketing Manager at EBY, a womens intimates brand that empowers women out of poverty and into business through microloans. What sets me apart in this space is my dual experience—I’ve lived the creator journey while also learning the ins and outs of the business behind it. That combination allows me to create authentic, results-driven partnerships from both sides of the table.

Today, I balance my career as a full-time influencer marketing manager with my continued work as a digital content creator. I’m passionate about building community, amplifying diverse voices, and using storytelling to inspire and connect.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Navigating the early stages of my career came with its fair share of challenges. One of the biggest was adjusting to new roles and environments each time I moved—from college to Miami, then to Columbus, and now to my current role. With each transition came a steep learning curve—new company cultures, different industries, evolving expectations, and new teams to build trust with.

Starting over in unfamiliar cities meant having to quickly adapt both professionally and personally. I had to learn how to rebuild my support system, integrate into new work cultures, and make meaningful connections with colleagues from different backgrounds. As someone who values community and collaboration, building those relationships from the ground up—especially while proving myself in new roles—required patience, emotional resilience, and a lot of initiative.

In influencer marketing, where relationships are everything, moving into more senior roles also came with the pressure of leading strategy while continuing to grow and nurture a strong network of creators. Balancing that responsibility while also managing my personal brand as a content creator added another layer of complexity—but it also sharpened my time management, empathy, and leadership skills.

Looking back, these challenges pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way. They taught me how to be adaptable, how to advocate for myself, and how to bring authenticity into every new space I enter.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a lifestyle vlogger, I create content that captures the beauty in everyday moments—with a focus on vlogs, fashion, and beauty. My goal is to inspire, entertain, and build genuine connection by sharing my life authentically across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Whether it’s a weekend vlog, a GRWM, an honest product review, or a day-in-the-life series, I love storytelling through video. My content blends aesthetic visuals with real-life relatability, giving my audience an inside look at not just what I’m wearing or where I’m going—but how I’m growing and navigating life.

Fashion and beauty are major pillars of my content. I enjoy sharing styling tips, outfit ideas, skincare routines, and beauty finds that reflect both my personal taste and my belief that confidence starts from within. I also love showcasing my passion for food—whether that’s exploring new restaurants, sharing quick at-home recipes, or capturing moments with loved ones over a great meal.

What sets my platform apart is the consistent throughline of authenticity and connection. I’ve built a loyal audience by showing up as myself, and by balancing aspirational content with the honest ups and downs of real life. My community knows they can come to me for inspiration, but also for transparency and a sense of belonging.

As I continue to grow my platform, I remain passionate about creating content that not only looks good—but feels good, and creates space for others to feel seen.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is rooted in our Christmas holiday traditions. Every year, the season felt magical—not just because of the lights or gifts, but because of the cozy, meaningful moments we spent together as a family. We’d spend entire evenings baking cookies from scratch, filling the house with sweet smells and laughter. Holiday movies played in the background as we curled up under blankets, sipping hot cocoa and quoting our favorite scenes. On Christmas morning, we’d open gifts, not in a rush, but slowly—soaking in the joy and gratitude that came with each one. It was never just about the presents; it was about presence. Those simple, heartwarming traditions created a sense of love, warmth, and togetherness that has stayed with me ever since—and they continue to inspire how I celebrate and create joy in my adult life today.
