Hi Paul, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I am a Grammy-nominated music producer, media content owner, and Dj.
I own and operate within the following companies – XMG LLC which is an independent music label, music production, and brand marketing company, H-Tv which is a 24/7 ad supported streaming channel distributed by Roku, and a Dj company called Untouchables Djs.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a music producer who develops records with artists, songwriters, composers, skilled recording and mixing engineers. I am also a working DJ, with an extensive knowledge of music from various genres.
What sets me apart from others is my work ethic and constant drive. I also have a willingness to reinvent myself to manage my staying power in an ever-evolving industry, both technically and creatively.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
I feel the role of good luck played in my business when I got the opportunity to work with Nas for the 1st time on the multi-platinum album, “Stillmatic”.
I submitted music with my dear friend of many years, Daven “Prestige” Vanderpool (formerly of the Bad Boy Records Hitmen production team) to the A&R of Sony Music, then got the call back to work on the album released back in 2001.
