Today we’d like to introduce you to Banjii .
Hi Banjii, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started by just being consistent and putting myself out there. Getting uncomfortable and forcing myself to push my many talents. Once I started gaining an audience, I started treating myself and my name as a brand and moved accordingly.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever smooth when you’re setting an authentic path for yourself. In the process of growing and becoming who I am now I’ve had my social media hacked, business plans flopped and even became unmotivated for a while before.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a Business owner owning my own clothing line, a personal stylist, a public figure, a creative director, a model, and everyone’s favorite professional dancer. Dancing professionally is what I’m known for and half of what got me the audience I have today. I’m most proud of the name I’ve created for myself and the very hard work I’ve put in for my business. I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to remain completely out of the mix but yet stay so engaged.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was a very imaginative kid. So much like I am now, I was very to myself and enjoyed my own company. My imagination kept me on the move and with trying so many things it gave me the chance to figure out what It is I actually wanted to do.
