Today we’d like to introduce you to Beatriz Velazquez.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
From the Bx NYC. Moved to ATL in 2005. After losing my mom and graduating jjay college. I was a single mom and I went through a lot from losing dad at four to mom and Gpa on drugs to losing mom at 21. To almost losing my life when I was 17. To Gma raising me. To three kids later supporting oldest son in GSU college to owning my own home and two cars to teaching our children for a living as well as coaching soccer to also runway modeling.
Life is hard and a lot but with God all things are possible.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Moving to a state with no family.
Losing both parents.
Having three children.
Being sodomized.
Just never stopping my dreams no matter what.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Beatriz Michelle – what should we know?
I wrote two books so far working on my 3rd living life through poetry and living life not just alive. 1 is my autobiography the other is my 31 days motivational read with spoken word. I do runway shows also.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The power of making my dreams come true. Ambition.

Knowing her is knowing a person who loves her special need students and giving her last to her kids. She’s special and a somebody since she was little in all our eyes.
