Meet BeBe Gibson

Today we’d like to introduce you to BeBe Gibson.

BeBe, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Serenity came to be, not because of a dream or a goal or need, but as a result of many years of research and studying healing modalities and the effects of implementing the tools for healing the body and the mind. Training each to work together to achieve balance. The body has the innate ability to heal given the right tools. I always knew that most people needed a way to learn and incorporate techniques of healing modalities for self care.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Some of the obstacles I have seen in starting this business have been the fears and the skepticism of “does it” really work. I believe that it is a lack of knowledge of how to self-care for ourselves has been a huge challenge to most.

Tell us more about the business.
Serenity Salt Cave and Healing Center offers many healing modalities such as massage, healing touch, Reiki, yoga, far infrared sauna, cyma technology, Braintap sound and frequency healing, and of course, the slat cave. Serenity is known as a place of healing, a caring group of practitioners, kindness, and a welcoming spirit. We are compassionate about life, and each practitioner and the instructor is dedicated to providing the utmost in service.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
In 2011 I was hit by a drunk driver. In 2012 I was almost killed by a man who came into my store with a gun. Something unusual happened and I was saved. A year later I was diagnosed with breast cancer. After all the trauma I experienced and all the work with therapy, alternative medicine, and natural healing, in 2017 it was time to get back to life. In that instance, I realized I needed to create a safe space for people to come and heal from a variety of wounds, and find self care and healing.
