Today we’d like to introduce you to Becca Harvey.
Becca, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started writing songs from a very young age and started actually making music in high school, but didn’t share my music with anyone until this year. I can’t play any instruments so my boyfriend helped me by producing my first song, and now my music is produced by Marshall Vore (Phoebe Bridgers).
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part! I always struggle with coming up with melodies but luckily, I have talented people in my life that can collaborate with me.

Girlpuppy is me, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA. I specialize in sad, honest music written by me for me! It’s therapeutic for me to write music and I’m just glad people listen to it.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as doing something you’re happy about, proud of, and interested in.
