Today we’d like to introduce you to Benjamin, Bryant, Bre’Ale, Byron Jr, Beti’Ana Palmer.
Benjamin, Bryant, Bre’Ale, Byron Jr, Beti’Ana, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
So, we are siblings and well every day either our dad would say to us knowledge is power and our mom would say education is key, and our sister (Bre’Ale) who models and have walked in fashion shows, an idea hit us why not come up with our very own educational t-shirt line. So, Benjamin and Bryant googled names to come up with and since we already know that we are all smart (lol) we wanted to come up with something that represented us, one day Bryant just happened to Google a Bee and found out that a bee is a very intelligent insect hence Smart As Bees, the Bees is symbolic to the fact that they are smart as well as to our name since all our first names start with B.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We don’t think it was a smooth road, only because I don’t think everyone wants to see you succeed, we had trouble getting someone trustworthy that could help create our ideas that we had, people that claimed they wanted to help until we needed to sell our shirts, and people who claim they would support but didn’t, but luckily our Uncle Leron who is a genius by the way helped bring our ideas to life and our parents spent money to get us the equipment’s we needed to get started. Our grandmother Mom Moms (Joy Williams) also gave us the idea to have the letter B in bees look like a Bee (lol) and our other Grandmother (Charlene) and Aunty Merle and Grandma Audrey, and Aunty Andrea were our first supporters to buy our shirts. And now we have a website. And we also have our own YouTube channel that we are still trying to get more followers for!
We’d love to hear more about the company.
Our company is basically an educational Line. Our first product as of right now is shirts and we hope to expand into more items, we are also currently working on getting masks for our company as well. We are very proud of our accomplishments and how far we came from when we started! What sets us apart is not only are we a siblings-based company, we also have the best support group with our parents and our family members as well as some of our parent’s friends.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Our Lord and Savior, Honesty, Hard Work, Perseverance and keeping the faith no matter what.
