Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca McRae.
Hi Bianca, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Growing up as a child, I was introduced to the entertainment field at a very young age. I discovered that I was in love with entertainment when I attended Green Pastor Christian School. During my time, I would always participate in the chapel where we would perform plays. Such as singing, dancing, modeling, and acting. I was the kid that was never afraid of the audience. Every time I perform I would always get a standing ovation and people would always tell my mom “you need to put that little girl in front of a camera.” From that point, I knew that I wanted to pursue entertainment. Around my 9th grade year of high school, I told my mom that I wanted to get my name known around Atlanta again because I had stop entertainment for a while. She decided that it was actually a good time for me to start back again and from then I’ve been on go. I’ve modeled in multiple fashion shows in Atlanta and also New York such as NYC Fashion Week and others. I’ve also filmed with a few television shows such as Starz and BET, and I work with the best studio production which is Jan Smith Studio “aka Mama Jan”. Fast forward to now I knew that I loved being around the camera and entertaining people so around November of 2018 I decided to join the YouTube world and believe it or not, that’s the best decision I’ve ever done. I have contacted with a lot of amazing people and also created my own family from my channel which I refer to as “Babes”. Right now I have over 17 thousand subscribers, and I know my Youtube family will continue to grow over time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I can definitely say it has not been a smooth road for me. From the jump, I’ve always had people talking down on me because I was passionate in what I do, but I never let the name callers or haters distract me from my goals. Some struggles that I faced with Youtube were other big creators not wanting to collaborate with my channel because I didn’t really have an audience yet. Now when I look back I believe that it actually helps me push harder with my own channel and learn the understanding on how to grow my own audience bigger. I also faced some struggles in my modeling and acting career by working with companies that claim they would help me, but I only got scammed in the long run.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a YouTube, Influencer, and inspiring actress /model. On my YouTube channel, I specialize in basically everything. You can find almost anything on my channel from vlogs to cooking, dance tutorial, makeup tutorial, clothing hauls, and more. I believe my channel sets me apart from other creators because I choose not to limit my channel to certain content but to show my creativity through my channel. I’m proud of all the accomplishments I have done so far because from a young age people would talk down on me and say I would not succeed in certain aspects of my life, but look at me now. I’m not at the top yet, but look what I’ve accomplished so far.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson that I’ve learned throughout my journey is to always be true to yourself, and never give up on your dreams. Even when it may seem like you’re not close to your goals never give up, and always shot for the best.
