Today we’d like to introduce you to Blaze Armon.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Blaze. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I grew up in the city of Atlanta where everything in rap comes from. The greatest contributors to hip hop come from my city and I’m proud to say that. OutKast dog! They came from Atlanta. I was born at Grady hospital born with Sickle-cell disease, so from the joint shit was tough. Dad in the streets selling work, mama in the kitchen smoking it. Homeless in shelters and a lot of moving around in the city. These trials could have broken the strongest man but it didn’t break me it just made my story better. I use music as a way to express myself I feel I have a lot to say. Music can move people I’m a firm believer in that. A song comes on in the club that’s knocking, you can find yourself turning up with a complete stranger like “ayeeee” this my shit you know. I went to carver high school that’s in the city like right next to Turner Field. People say they from the city but be from Paulding county. I don’t knock them for that because everyone wants to be from Atlanta. I started music in 09 when I graduated with my homeboy “FR23sh.“ I stopped for a minute cause I lost faith in music. It wasn’t giving me what I felt I deserved from it. I’m back now though with a burning ambition and I’m going none stop this year.
Has it been a smooth road?
Smooth not at all, but you need that bad thing to happen to become great. Bruce Wayne parents don’t get shot we don’t get Batman. Superman never gets his powers if krypton doesn’t blow up. So, you need that adversity to build you up. I’ve been in a coma. Blood transfusions, 6 pills a day, pneumonia more times than I can count. Even still God got me here still though so who am I to question the big guy.

I’m working on tape right now called “The last draft pick” and I wanted the title to speak for itself. In any league, the last draft pick has a chip on their shoulder. Like damn y’all sleeping on me. I gotta work hard and prove people wrong. So, that’s what’s going on with this project. Make some good as music. So, look out for that in September.
