Today we’d like to introduce you to Blesstheplaya.

Hi Blesstheplaya, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I pretty much got to where I am today but really yearning for art and sigificant artistry. At first it was writing, then recording. A big part of my life was being around the late collective BYVxYOD- that’s where I learning to really perform and cook up music and the level I am today.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There was always struggles. One of the biggest was money. At some point I was commuting an hour 3 different ways- oak wood for school, Cornelia for work, and Athens for performing and hanging out.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I like to catch a vibe and write, firstly. If I do freestyle it will be with melodies. I love to mix the song down and watch an idea come to life. My personality, I would say, is something that sets me apart the most. Just being me.
