Today we’d like to introduce you to Bradley Thomas.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Bradley. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
From as early as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a business owner. It just took a while for me to figure out what type of business exactly. At age 20, I developed some major health concerns, but the doctors could not accurately diagnose it. Little did I know, at the time, the major issue was that I lacked in overall health. As a collegiate athlete, my diet was poor, and so was my stress management. My illnesses at age 20 were a blessing that little did I know, would mark the beginning of my health and fitness journey, and would inspire Inspire Everyday Fitness.
Inspire Everyday Fitness started just over a year ago, during a time when I took a step back to intentionally focus on starting the right business for me. I contemplated what I am passionate about, and enjoy doing; what gives me life, and what I am good at. I then considered how to take all of my findings and turn it into a business.
One thing I have discovered on this journey of building a business is that it brings me face to face with all my fears and insecurities, and I don’t think anyone ever told me that would happen. I love the challenge however and the opportunity for continued personal growth and development. I love what I’m in business to do, which is to help and inspire people to be healthy, fit, and to be their best. Honestly, I would be doing that whether this business was started or not.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Is the road to success ever smooth? I’ve struggled with finances, getting enough rest, and dealing with the opinion of other people, just to name a few. How have I worked through these struggles? I go back to my basics, relying on my faith as my bedrock. I also create the time to rest, rejuvenate, think, and plan; and after the thorough assessment, I cut things that aren’t working.
Please tell us about Inspire Everyday Fitness – what should we know?
I am a health coach working with clients to reach their health and fitness goals. I also work to influence a larger audience through social media, to make healthier choices.
Today, I am most known for the meal preps that I post on social media and that I bring to my 9-5 job. People always comment on how good those meal preps look and smell, and that they are so healthy. I believe my consistency really helps make a difference in people.
I am overall most proud that I have not let fear stop me from moving forward.
What sets me apart from others is my authenticity and that I’m not trying to offer the generic, of what everyone else is trying to give you. My weekly meal preps are a good case and point. I want to give you variety and expansion, but I also work to simplify the process as well.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Legacy is the most important quality and characteristic of my success. Legacy forces me to keep a long term focus. My legacy is influenced heavily by my faith in God, and that faithfulness to him should richly benefit myself, my family, my community, and the world. Everywhere I go, I want to leave it better than when I arrived. Everywhere I go, I want to love others the way God loves me. Herein is legacy, and this is what drives me to success.
