Meet Brandon Billings of BankOfBillionaires in Albany

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Billings.

Brandon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started BankOfBillionaires in 2014. I always had a dream of owning my own clothing line. I attended to DeVry University, where I took up Business Administration to learn more about marketing and gaining a solid strategy plan to help my brand flourish across the country. After graduating with a Bachelors’s Degree, I hit the ground running. I’ve been in business going on six consistent years now. I’m currently manufacturing all of my products myself after about three years of paying people to print my apparel. I found myself saving a lot more money that way and I can keep the releases coming for my supporters out there. It wasn’t easy at all. It was plenty of times I wanted to give up, but I just prayed and stayed focused on what I wanted and that was for my brand to be successful.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The only struggle I still have today is pushing myself daily to keep going. With losing so many loved ones in the mix of the success, I’m having. I just wish they could be here to see my success. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing the fact that they are looking down upon me and keeping me covered.

Please tell us about BankOfBillionaires.
BankOfBillionaires is a clothing brand. We offer urban and casual clothing. Most of our prints are screen printed onto the garments, which gives a much appealing look to the clothing. We also offer unique accessories as well. What most makes me proud about my brand is seeing supporters actually wearing my brand out in public places or posting it on social media, which also gives more promotion for my products. Nothing like great support and to know the people really rocking with brand. The fact that I manufacture my own products is what set me apart from others. The turnaround time is different now versus having to wait on someone else to complete the manufacturing of your items. I can print at any given time and get product out to my supporters.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
All the gatherings I have had with my family during my childhood days would be considered my favorite. I love to spend time with family it’s very important to me.
