Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Morson.
Detroit native, Brandon has a built a reputation as top young bi-coastal film producer entrepreneurs in Atlanta and Los Angeles, by producing film, tv and video content, building brands and molding new talent. His strong background in TV/Film Production and Marketing can be attributed to his time spent studying at Western Michigan University. Brandon began his career as the assistant and digital content producer to Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. Soon after Brandon was recruited by General Motors marketing team to as a top consultant to bring fresh ideas to a diversity initiative. Brandon was the winner of multiple awards at several film festivals in Michigan including Best Picture, Beat Director, Best Story. Since then Brandon Made the decision to move to Los Angeles, CA has managed a number of global brands, as well as made his mark in the TV/Film industry as an upcoming producer, Director, And writer.

In 2015 Brandon founded Sketch House LA to use his passions for film making and marketing to help his talented comedian friends produce high-quality digital content and grow their brands on social media. Sketch House LA is a social media incubator, content creation and management company. Our core vision is to create a platform for our social media talent and content to be recognized amongst traditional mainstream media outlets. Leveraging our legions of followers, I created a new kind of talent management and creative agency. Our aim is to use our social media platform to affect change in our communities and to help other budding influencers grow their reach and monetize their social channels.
I started a full-service film production company Be More Creative. We have everything need to produce any type of v show or film from conception to completion. Our team has experienced writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, camera operators, Casting directors, editors and other post-production services.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road has definitely not been smooth. There have been many struggles along the way. When I first moved from Detroit, it was a step out on faith. In Detroit, I was good and comfortable. I had a nice career as a marketing executive for one of the companies in the automotive industry. I wasn’t happy and had no passion in that career or life. It was divine inspiration all around that pulled me out of that and into film making and entertainment industry what I has a vision that I would be doing for years but didn’t have enough courage to step out of my comfort zone to just do it. When I first moved to away from home Detroit I had no job And was living out of my car and crashing on couches of friends. I always believed that this stage was temporary and knew that struggle is part of the journey. Never stop give up and never stop believing that your purpose is constantly being fulfilled.
Be More Creative and Sketch House LA – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Be More Creative is a television and film production company that I founded with co-owner and producer Haile Jones. We have a team that specializes in creating and developing high-quality video programming from conception to completion.
Sketch House LA is a company that is created for creators by creators as a network and community of viral content creators, social media influencers, comedians, models, actors.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Being able to share light and be a positive influence and motivational force to not only my peers but to a generation under me is the most rewarding feeling that I have experienced so I strive to achieve more of that at the highest of levels.
