Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon W. Jones.
Brandon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’m from the Detroit area, moved to Atlanta to attend Clark Atlanta University. After graduation, I’ve held several positions within the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry working with Campbell’s Soup, Power Crunch Protein Bar and most recent Aquahydrate (bottled water company owned by Diddy & Mark Wahlberg) as a business development manager. After a few months in the position, I was laid off but thankfully, I had my real estate license. At that time, it was sink or swim, so I exhausted as much as I could to succeed in this business which brings me to the current day. After hard work, prospecting, marketing myself, etc. I can humbly say that I sold over $1 million worth of real estate in the market last year (2018).
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Real Estate is nowhere near smooth or easy and It’s one of the most failed careers. Every deal is a new learning experience just about. Starting out, I had no business for the first several months. No one really comes calling your phone and asking for your business, I really had to go out make calls to potential sellers & buyers, meet people, make connections, market & brand myself become more visible on social media and ultimately change my mindset that I am the Boss/CEO of my own Real Estate business. To this day, I still continue these tactics but at this point, I do not have to do it much because of my brand and business connections that I have.
What do you do? What do you specialize in?
I’m a licensed Georgia REALTOR with Norman & Associates Real Estate Solutions. I personally specialize in listing properties; I have an unmatched marketing plan that would blow you away. I also have a wide range of experience working with investors, buyers and new construction.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Forever I love Atlanta! I’ve been living in Atlanta for since 2008 so Atlanta to me is a vibe, for the culture, its black mecca! I’ve traveled all over the country and internationally and never have I met and seen so many successful black men & women.
Beyond that, it’s ALWAYS something to do and a place to eat. The city of Atlanta and its surrounding neighborhoods have a lot to offer. Coming from the Detroit area first and foremost the weather is great, the diversity, The opportunities are endless (working and entrepreneurial), a large variety of restaurants, Chick fil a is everywhere, a wide selection of beautiful homes and apartments *oddly* great places to shop! The nightlife, the music & Entertainment TV/Movie scene, and can’t forget about the iconic strip clubs.
At this point, im use to it now but the least thing I hate is obviously the dreadful Atlanta Traffic. I really wonder why is there traffic at 10:30 pm at night on I-85 on a Tuesday. Other than that, Atlanta is too busy to hate.
