Today we’d like to introduce you to Breanna Griffith.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I currently work at a Black-owned Film studio (Annony studios) where I am the Operations Manager and the Creative Director. So, I’ve always been interested in designing and fashion. I started designing my own Sunglasses one day and then I thought. Why not start my own eye-wear business. So that’s exactly what I did, I went and filed my paperwork, looking for distributors, and created my own website. I’m blessed to work at a studio because I was able to shoot my products and models themselves for no cost. I’ve only been owning my own business for a few months, but I’ve seen the growth and I want to continue to grow. My goal is to be the next Cartier with luxury handcrafted vintage glasses.
Has it been a smooth road?
The hardest part is trying to understand your demographic and your target market. I’m currently in an area that isn’t supportive of my brand and basically ignores it. But when I go to outside sources, I make sales. Gaining customers and recognition is a lot harder than anticipated. I won’t give up, I will continue to make graphics, order new products, and sales. Whether if people around my community supports me or not.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with KITI Kollection – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
KITI Kollection is Eyewear and Accessories online store currently. We sell sunglasses and accessories. Mostly known for our Cat-eyed styles, I’m very proud that we are beginning to sell out of products now. What will set us apart is the way that we are branding ourselves as a luxury line and that our quality of products matches without luxury prices.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love Atlanta for all of the creativity and culture just around the city. Everywhere you go in ATL has some form creative being it whether music, art or food and it’s just inspiring. I dislike the traffic.
