Meet Brent Pease of The Kyle Pease Foundation

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brent Pease.

Founded in 2011 by brothers Kyle and Brent Pease the Kyle Pease Foundation strives to improve the lives of disabled through sports. It was in 2012, that the foundation served its first athlete and has since grown to serve more than 60 athletes per year!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The biggest lesson we learned was that this is still a business we started. So, it was not always easy especially finding our first family to serve. The struggles today are staying true to our mission while growing our ability to serve. Sometimes that is not always easy but we work hard to be able to continue to be able to serve. As Kyle would say, “Where there’s a wheel, there’s a way”

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about The Kyle Pease Foundation – what should we know?
We are a 501c3 not for profit corporation based in Atlanta, GA. We specialize in serving the disabled through sports. We are most proud of helping people finish events from 5k to Ironman and being able to serve 63 people last year! We cover all expenses regardless of need and I believe that level of service helps to set us apart from others.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
So many deserves credit. Our parents, Greg and Christy Smith, Matthew Rose, Betty Janelle to name just a few. They have helped us push forward and allowed us to serve. They help to show us the way to better ourselves and to serve others. They have helped us grow our non profit through their generosity, their time and the way they have cared for our success. They are friends, supporters and mentors.
