Meet Brewer Heights Cece

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brewer Heights Cece.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started doing music when I was 16. Didn’t know at that moment I would love and have a passion for it. Since then I’ve had different shows to perform at staying busy! What really got me hooked to it was seeing how much your words affects other and how happy certain people get while rapping your lyrics.

When I was 20, I got shot 9 times here in Montgomery Alabama. I had to learn how to walk again, talk again and even chew food again. Not to mention I spent my 21st birthday in the hospital! After a long two years recovery of having different surgeries, I’m almost back to my natural self before the trauma. I still have four bullets in my body but I’m strong I still can do the exact things a regular body can do.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The only challenges I’ve had were jealousy from some people you would never expect to change or not be around. Other than that jail or the graveyard got the rest of my friends.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an artist I’m 24 and also a ghostwriter and my genre is rap/hip hop. I specialize in making dope music giving the world different sounds and motivation. I’m known for my past a lot of it wasn’t good but that’s where I left my marks and found myself. I’m most proud of my shake back a lot of people who have been in my situation couldn’t come back from it I was in a coma for a week plus. What set me and others apart is my personality and willingness to get up and grind every day.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
To my new artist coming up Be Yourself don’t let these rappers trick y’all off the streets or have u doing things they not even doing… The streets don’t love or owe anybody… So soak that up!
