Meet Brian Jamal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Jamal. They and their team shared their story with us below:

Brian Jamal

A native of a small country town called Valdosta, GA. The striving artist. Formerly known as Jsoul. Brian Jamal converted from R&B to Christian/ Inspirational music in 2013. After a life of betrayal from family and so-called friends, Brian Jamal took a dangerous path of drugs, alcohol, violence, and womanizing. Doing about a hundred miles per hour to his grave, The God of the Bible intervened to save his life.

“I encountered God in 2013 like never before. He supernaturally healed me from a heart attack due to a cocaine overdose. I was so afraid. I knew my life was over. I had always portrayed to hard/tough. But this was different. I was put in a place to choose life or death. I had to call on the name of Jesus. And he answered. That’s why I’m here today. To tell you about it.”

Brian Jamal has a new project that will be dropping in April 2024. The title is Transparency 2.0 (The Inspirational Mixtape).

After starting his own Christian Inspirational label. Brian Jamal is making his way to the billboard charts.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been a long, hard road. Crossing over from my childhood love. For R&B music was the hardest part. After understanding my purpose on this earth. It became more clearer and easier.
