Hi Brittany, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I would hate getting my nails done then two days later half of my nails popped off! Every salon I went to was the same! One day I thought to myself, “you know what I could do this myself”. That’s exactly what happened. After a few months, I decided to look into going to school for nails. That’s when I came across Elaine Sterling Institute & fell in love. I met so many wonderful people there and had the best instructor! Ms. Elle Jay was so supportive of all of our decisions and really pushed us to do more. It was hard but here I am three years later, dedicated more than ever
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The hardest part for me was building clientele and technique. Starting out, my foundation was not the best. Nails would pop off and I hated that for myself. In wanted to quit plenty of times but the fight in me kept fighting. Over a period of time, I kept practicing & eventually gained more clientele! I had to realize when you take your time & practice your technique, your work speaks for itself.

I am a Douglasville-based Nail Technician & Owner Of Gripp Gangg Nails LLC. I specialize in giving the girls what they ask for and maybe even a little extra. When booking with Gripp Gangg Nails, it’s not just an appointment it’s an experience. I like to cater to my clients so that they could let their hair down and be themselves when they sit in my chair. I service short nails all the way up to long and nasty.
Any big plans?
There are so many things to look out for from Gripp Gangg Nails. We are now working to release our winter t-shirt and hoodie collection in winter 2022. Also, we are collaborating with more creatives and nail technicians to create more content, giveaways, & raffles.
