I graduated from college in 2017 with a degree in Public Relations. My first job out of college was an awesome managerial position at Truly Forever Bridal, Florida’s largest bridal store. I had the freedom to be creative with my branding and PR work. It really makes me fall in love with the bridal industry. A few years later, I decided to try something new and go into healthcare for about a year, which I soon found out was not the sector for me. I wanted to do something that I was good at and that was flexible so I could travel. My significant other has a job that requires constant moving and traveling, so I was brainstorming one night and all of a sudden it came to me that I needed to start a Personalized Gifting business. I realized that it could be hard to find good quality, unique gifts, and I already know how to market the bridal world (bridesmaid proposal boxes are definitely my #1 seller). I started Trouvaille Gift Boxes literally two weeks before COVID shut down the world in March 2020, but I have had almost 500 sales!
Has it been a smooth road?
It has been pretty smooth so far. I obviously have had learning curves, but considering I opened in the middle of a pandemic, I haven’t stressed too much!

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the small-town vibes that Atlanta has. It feels so homey and everywhere you go you are bound to know someone even though it’s a large city. The traffic is definitely the worst part of it.
